My last post of 2017.
For all my great blogger and writer friends, I’m sending you the very best wishes for whatever holiday you celebrate this season. And if you’re one of my followers, I have a few gifts to add some cheer.
Mail Chimp put me in the gift-giving mood when they sent me these!
You can’t have my socks, but here’s what I’m giving away:
An original tote bag designed by Keiko O’Leary at Thinking Ink Press with “YOU have a story to tell.” Put your name in the HAT by asking for this in your comment.
Three Instant Books that have a mini-prequel for Sign of the Green Dragon.
If you’d like one of these origami books me know in your comment.
One copy of Alligators Overhead (eBook anywhere on the planet and a paperback in the U.S.) Once again, just ask and your name goes into the hat.
My Quote of the Week:
For it is in giving that we receive. St. Francis Assisi
STOP BY VERBOSITY BOOK REVIEWS AND SAY HI. THEY WERE SO KIND TO HOST ME ON THEIR SITE.
See you in 2018!

I hope your 2018 is wonderful!
Congrats to being published in Lost! A themed anthology 2017. I saw your name one above mine in the book.
Happy holidays and I hope you have a great New Year, Lee! 🙂
Those socks are the best!
Thanks for the giveaway! Alligator Overhead has been on my list of books to get. If I could be put in the drawing for that, it would be great!
Hope you had a very Merry Christmas. Happy New Year! Wishing you all the best in 2018!

The socks are adorable. I bet you look so cute wearing them. I’d love the tote bag. Put me in. The books too. Loved the story.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
I would love to be in the running for any of the prizes, and I think it’s wonderful that you’re in a gift-giving mood! I enjoyed Double Negative and am planning to read more of your books in 2018.
Merry Christmas!
You’re the best, Lynda. Thanks for sticking with me. Really love our connection.
May our 2018 be superb.

Hey Lee,
Did I ever mention I despise the WordPress comment set up? I’m going to comment and paste my comment in case it doesn’t work the first time.
Anyway, my rant is over. I was kinda’ hoping you would send me those socks!
Wishing you , your loved ones and of course, your adoring, starstruck fans, a most peaceful, hopeful Christmas, topped by a fantastic 2018.
As forever n’stuff, your starstruckest fan,
Penny’s human dad,
Gary 😀
I’ve heard the same rant from others. I’m not sure what the problem is or why WP makes their comment a challenge for people, but if you can figure that out, I’ll send you my socks.
Back at you with the bestest ever wishes for a wonderful Christmas-with or without my socks.
Ooh, nice socks!
Can I be put in the running for… everything? Haha, these are all such great gifts! 😀
Best wishes and happy holidays to you too! Hope you have a lovely break!

Aw, those socks are adorable. Hope you have a fantastic holiday!
I’m wearing the a lot! I get many comments. 🙂 Hope you enjoy this last month of 2018, Heather.
Love the socks!
I would like to put my name in for the tote, the prequel, and the print copy of Alligators Overhead. But- that seems greedy, so if I can only put in for one it would be the print copy of Alligators Overhead. I have obviously read and enjoyed it- but would love to share it with my students at school (and my budget for library books this year was $0 due to the budget for the State of Connecticut).
Thanks so much!!
Happy Holidays!
You’re not greedy; you’re just being smart! Have a wonderful holiday, Stephanie. I look forward to more time shared with you and Jess in 2018.

Merry Christmas Lee I’m trying to imagine what I’d look like wearing those socks. You got true awesomeness here to bring in the New year
These socks have the ability to take you to the future, so while you may look as silly as I do, you’ll love the futuristic trip they take you on. Trek On!

Hi Lee - love the socks! I think… Thanks for all your wonderful comments over on ABAB this year. I wish you a wonderful Christmas and everything that’s good for 2018. All the best, Mike x
I guess I should give up writing books and start either knitting socks or making totes. Why didn’t I know that before this post?
I love your blog, so you’ll see me a lot in 2018, Mike. Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas! I assume the socks mean you have a gazillion newsletter subscribers? Congrats!
I wish you all the best this holiday season, Lee. And I’d love to put my name in for Alligators Overhead, though I’m woefully behind on my reading. Having trouble concentrating on it these days.
Woefully behind is my line, J.H., but you may borrow it for the season. Here’s to more horror over at your place. I love my visits there; that’s where I get the chills to keep me on my toes. Merry Christmas and see you in 2018.
Those socks are pretty cool! Hope you have a great Christmas and New Year.
Hi Sarah,
My best to you as well.
I’d love to win that tote. Happy Holidays Lee! See you in 2018.
Thanks for entering, Toi!
Hi Lee! I want those sox! How adorable!
Thank you for personifying the word ‘generous’ at a time when you’re going through so much. I wish you and yours the happiest of Christmases and the very best wishes for 2018!
I know those socks are the best, aren’t they? Thanks for your kind thoughts, Denise. Appreciated.

Merry Christmas! And I look very forward to reading more of your work in 2018!
I’ll have at least one book out in 2018. Whew! Here’s to a productive new year.
Merriest of holidays to you, too, Lee. What a fun time of year!
It does seem that people are in good spirts. I want that all year long. 🙂
I tried to maintain one year but it’s a lot harder when there’s not the systemic support found during the holidays!
Love those socks. The bag is wonderful too - and so very true.
Thank you so much for the generosity which you throw around like confetti.
And have a very happy Christmas and a wonderful new year.
I guess I should offer the socks. They seem to have made a hit! 🙂
Some nice stuff. I really like that tote.
Happy New Year. Have a great break.
I do, too. Useful and pretty.
What lovely Christmas wishes, Lee.
Hope your holidays are the best ever.
Hugs,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I am currently wearing one of my pairs of Christmas socks (I have enough pairs to last more than the week) so I appreciate your pair very much. Thanks for the chance to win a gift from you. Please put my name in the hat for the tote bag-it’s perfect for me as an author.
Hi Lee - gosh those socks are amazing … and that black bag - pity I’m over the border … but someone else will enjoy. I need to check what’s on my Kindle and ipad re ebooks … 2018 might be the year of reading more … cheers and have a wonderful Christmas, New Year and we’ll all enjoy 2018 - Hilary
I must find some reading time soon. I’ve been so busy that I’ve put all my books aside for a while. Hope you have a great holiday, Hilary.
haha looking spiffy in the socks. Hope a great holiday is had at your pad.
Don’t they just grab your eye by the socket? Merry Christmas, Pat!

I love those socks, and they look as if they will keep your toes toasty and warm.
Have a wonderful Christmas and the best New Year. See you in 2018. Hugs!
They are rather splendid! I wear them while I’m writing, and whenever I look down I smile. Funny monkeys.
A very Merry Christmas and a truly amazing New Year, Barbara.
Hi, Cheryl-Lee!
As I look back over 2017 I am thankful to have brought you into my friend circle and honored that you accepted me into yours. I look forward to growing our friendship in the coming year. I would appreciate it if you would kindly throw my name in the hat to win that tote bag. My college age granddaughter loves Gothic black and I know she would be delighted if Mrs. Shady and I could give her that bag for her birthday.
Merry Christmas and happy new year, dear friend C-Lee!
I loved finding your exciting and interesting blog this year, Thomas, so the feeling is mutual. And your name is most definitely in the hat!
Have a wonderful Christmas and see you in 2018 a lot.
