WestSide is up for sale, but no one seems to know that, so all of our books are in limbo because no business is being conducted.
I can’t put Sliding on the Edge or The Princess of Las Pulgas out as eBooks. I can’t do much of anything, but wait. The other authors are in the same situation.
Beth Fehlbaum took out an ad in Publisher’s Marketplace for today to highlight what’s going on. Hope you’ll check out her post. Here’s the list of all the WestSide authors.

What an illustrious list of books and frustrating predicament! I hope the ad in Publisher's Marketplace gets some results. It doesn't seem fair that WestSide's authors should be left in the lurch like this.
Lisa Gail Green says
Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear this! I'll go tweet and get something… Wish I could buy it! LOL, I need some raccoons to shake things up around here. 😀

Sending good vibes that this will have a happy ending.

What a frustrating situation! I hope someone with a lot more money than me helps you all out soon! In the meantime, I'm off to check out the books – I can do that much!
DazyDayWriter says
Lee, this must be so frustrating. I published my book during the William Morrow Harper Collins merger and … the book was sort of lost in the shuffle … the business end of publishing can be dreadful. Just keep going is all I can say … keep writing … keep getting the word out about what is going on. I hope good news develops soon! –Daisy

I wonder how much a publishing house goes for these days?

Oh no! This is terrible, Lee. I wish I had a bank full of money, I'd buy it up in a flash.
