I’m ready for a touch of doldrums. These choppy seas are getting to me.
In the meantime here’s my gratitude for all who’ve signed on to help with SVMMM. Once I’m back up to full speed, I hope these authors will accept my invitation to be FEATURED on my blog. I’ll be putting out that call again soon.

Hi Lee. You certainly have had your highs and lows. That’s life. You win some, you lose some. I hope your current high lasts a long time before the doldrums hit.
C. Lee McKenzie says
Thanks, Denise. I appreciate your thoughts. We all have those highs and lows, so I’m sure everyone understands.

i have always noticed the hardest years do end up the most rewarding we see things during those darker days that are often overlooked when the light is so brilliant like one beautiful summer afternoon…. to exist we need to balance the light and dark and thusly we grow… so i would venture to guess you have done some growing in the last year, the 2 bright spots are new and exciting, and will always fade to the rear the darker times…congrats on your books… some day i hope someone says the same to me it must be so incredibley exciting!
C. Lee McKenzie says
Thanks for your visit today, Tony, and for your considered comment. I loved reading it, and it certainly strikes a chord. Please stop in again. I love my visitors.

Wow, that’s too much for anyone to deal with, especially in that short a time span. I hope your husband is well on his way to recovery. Cancer is so awful.
Hugs.

There’s a reason “may you live in interesting times” is considered a curse. I hope all smooths out for you soon.
Beverly McClure says
Here’s to smooth sailing for you and your husband from now on. Happy to hear he’s doing better, so relax as best you can and enjoy your new books and this beautiful world, dear friend. Know that you are loved.
Pat Hatt says
Lows sure can suck and they seem to keep on a coming, but good to have highs in there too. Hopefully your husband keeps getting better.
Sandra Cox says
You’ve had good reason to be running the gambit of emotions. Wishing best health to your husband. And many sales to you.

The purportedly Chinese Curse ‘May you live in interesting times’ has always struck me as extraordinarily vicious.
Your lows were very low indeed, and I am glad that there were/are high spots too. Particularly on the health front. Cancer and its cures are both sucky beasts.
Hilary says
Hi Lee – you’ll bounce back … perhaps a pond pudding again?! More importantly I’m so glad your hubby is improving – that is very good news. Life is full of highs and lows … and many of us could wish for that even keel – take care and once I’ve recovered I’ll feel easier and know which way the wind blows. With lots of thoughts – cheers Hilary
Sherry Ellis says
Hope your husband continues to be on the mend. Health problems are not fun to deal with! Wishing you more highs than lows!
C. Lee McKenzie says
Thanks, Sherry. So far all looks good on his health front. The biggest plus is he’s eating again. This is excellent.
Congratulations on the great interview. I’m putting the link here in case some readers would like to stop by.

Hi, Cheryl- Lee!
You certainly have been on a thrill ride, haven’t you, dear friend? It stands to reason you are in the mood for some good old fashioned normalcy for a change.
I am very sorry to learn that your husband took ill and needed a surgical procedure. Given your perennially cheery disposition, most of us would never have guessed that you were dealing with that worrisome situation behind the scenes. It’s good to know he’s bounced back. There’s no avoiding the giddy excitement and stress that come from book launches. Your quote of the week is timely and rings with truth.
I wish you a safe, happy and successful week ahead, dear friend Cheryl-Lee!
C. Lee McKenzie says
