Thanks to VIKLIT
My list is very short this week and it’s early because I didn’t want to miss out on the first day Lexa’s and Julie’s DREAM DESTINATION.
Also I wanted to tell you that Crystal Collier has extended her winner selection until Dec. 10. We just have to wait a bit longer, but I’ll announce the winner here ASAP.
Then there’s the IWSG Contest that you must sign up for.
Now for that Celebration. I’m thankful for the life I have. It’s a small thing when you consider just how big our universe is, but as we all know it’s the small things that are the most important. Hope you’ll visit the others in this HOP. Just click on the link find all those who are participating.
Where to go is the question? For me the answer is quite simple. I would choose to go to one of those newly detected galaxies. I’d want to take a peek at planet X, Y or Z and look back at our place in space. Think of the new perspective!
Any suggestions for what I should pack?
Go see where the rest of the hoppers are dreaming of going. I’m on my way to check them out where Lexa and Julie hang out and to enter their giveaway. See you there.

Oh I like your destination choice. Who doesn't want to see the unknown?
Rhissanna says
O2. Anything else is personal choice, but definitely pack some O2.
And bring back pictures!
Shannon Lawrence says
My biggest suggestion for what to pack would be…oxygen. π
Space! That's the first I've seen this answer. That would definitely be the trip of a lifetime.

Layers, you should pack in layers – LOL, or is it just always cold in the other galaxy. Celebrating life is a good thing too.
LD Masterson says
Ah, you're the first blog I've been to on the hop that opted for going off planets. Now that has possibilities.
Rawknrobyn.blogspot.com says
Pack some fair trade chocolate. You'll be able to quickly assess how friendly the X,Y and Z-ans are. I like your imagination.
Happy weekend.

I'd go to England. Really, another planet hadn't occurred to me. π

Hi Lee,
Very good of you to make mention of Crystal and all that other neat stuff.
IWSG aka I Was Seeking Gary. A contest about me? Cool and most flattering. Thank you!
I'm thankful that you are thankful for the life you have. I'm thankful I seem to still have a pulse.
Blog Hop? Arggghhhhh!!!! Make them STOP! Phew…sorry about that….
You head off to the Ford Galaxy. That would be fun. I'm heading to Uranus. What a dream destination…
Have a nice weekend, Lee.
As always, your starstruckest fan,
Gary

I'd love to explore the universe. I guess there's not much to pack since we'd be wearing spacesuits. I don't look forward to the spaceship food, though.
Shah Wharton says
I'd be scared I wouldn't make it back to earth. π You are a brave one… use Alex's teleporter. Sounds safer that way. π

Count me in on your voyage as long as we bring enough freeze dried ice cream. I saw GRAVITY, so now I know how to get around in space
DMS says
I love your destination! That would be so fun! The perspective would be awesome. π

Beverly Stowe McClure says
Exploring the universe would be quite a vacation. I think you'd need to take oxygen with you.
Kim Lajevardi says
What a fun choice!I want to look at your pictures when you get back. Oh, take Alex up on his offer of a teleporter. There's so many possibilities once you have one of those babies. π
Mere Joyce says
Ooh, interesting destination indeed! And a very good way to look at things in a new perspective, =)
Pk Hrezo says
Now that'd be stellar! So many places I wanna see right here on earth tho too. It's a hard choice. π
Loni Townsend says
A galactic adventure!
Magaly Guerrero says
Pack me! Pack me! With lots of chocolate, perhaps a laser gun, you never know!
Susan Flett Swiderski says
You've made some nifty changes to your blog since I last visited. It looks fantastic! I LOVE the way it loads, with those books on a shelf. Very unique! Talking about unique, your dream destination is pretty darned unique, too. I haven't come across anyone else yet who chose an extraterrestial vacation spot. Hmmm, better carry along some SPF-1000 sunblock, just to be safe. And some chocolate. And wine. And… (I'm reminding myself of the scene in "The Jerk" where Steve Martin is running away, but keeps grabbing just "one more thing" to take with him.)
Elizabeth Seckman says
Oh my goodness! What would you pack?! I'd probably start with some oxygen tanks.
Sherry Ellis says
I hadn't thought of a dream vacation leaving planet Earth, but it might be kind of cool to see the universe from "up there"!
Lexa Cain says
LOL! Trust you to do the unexpected. Your answer never occurred to me, but if you go I hope you'll let me come too. Imagine all the beautiful things we'd see. Thanks so much for joining the hop! π
Kate Larkindale says
Interesting choice! I neer thought about intergalactic travel, although I did ask Lexa about time travel….
Julie Flanders says
What a fun choice! Thanks again for participating and for your donation, Lee, you rock!
And I LOVE your new site. It looks gorgeous with those books lined up.
Kim Van Sickler says
Using a teleportation device is the way to go, although then you'd miss the epic view of Earth spread out in all it's circular grandeur. If you could take a spaceship to the moon, look down on Earth, and then teleport elsewhere in the galaxy, THAT would be the way to go. Bring your art supplies to create mind-blowing pictures of what you see.
Catherine Stine says
Yay, I'm actually going soon to a dream destination! The white beaches of the Dominican Republic. The hubby and I are celebrating a big anniversary.
J.L. Campbell says
Hey, Lee,
You're one of the more adventurous among us.
Bish Denham says
Interesting choice, Lee! Just what are you hinting at? π
Angela Brown says
See if you can borrow Tara Tyler's Pop Travel system to zip-zap your way your way. Pack lightly with a tank of oxygen, a kindle filled with ebooks and crackers in case you get a little nauseous getting there. π
Alex J. Cavanaugh says
Do you want to travel there or would you like to borrow the teleporter?
Thanks for mentioning the IWSG contest!
