It’s that time again. Welcome to YA Scavenger Hunt!
If you’re visiting for the first time let me introduce myself. I’ll be brief with some short facts my friends kid me about: 1) I’m happiest digging in my garden. 2) I iron my sheets. ( I hear the laughing, so just stop!) But don’t stop reading. There’s a lot to come.
This year I’m on the BLUE TEAM. Keep reading to discover some EXCLUSIVE CONTENT, FREE BOOKS, an AMAZING YA AUTHOR, and my SECRET NUMBER. And if you haven’t already joined me on my website, you can get an instant gift by signing up HERE.

TODAY I HAVE THE PRIVILEGE OF HOSTING
Sarah K.L. Wilson
USA Today bestselling author, Sarah K. L. Wilson loves spinning a yarn and if it paints a magical new world, twists something old into something reborn, or makes your heart pound with excitement … all the better!
Here’s what’s awaiting you when you read FAE HUNTER.
I was born to hunt. I was born to protect.
But this is the one creature I wasn’t trained to kill.
The fae are sneaking into our little town. They stole my sister. They stole my sight. And now they’re going to steal everything else … unless I stop them. Isn’t that so charming?
I don’t care that they’re pretty. I don’t care that to them lies are truth, power is sustenance, and every action ripples into violence. I’m not going to let their glamor fool me. I’m going to use it to fuel me as I bring them down.
But the town is turning against me, and I’m losing allies one by one. I need a secret weapon to use against them and I need to be brave enough to use it … whatever the cost.
Can one mortal girl stop all of the Faewald?
I’m going to have to try.
You can connect with Sarah and her books here:
When you land on her page, she’ll be giving away a free book.
Keep Hunting!
And now, here’s a chance for you to get two of my books with one entry. DOUBLE NEGATIVE (chosen in the top 10 STUNNING YA BOOKS) and NOT GUILTY (my most recent novel).
Oh, and I almost forgot, I have one more “fun” fact about me that I left out in the beginning. 3) I seldom eat desserts. So now you know 3 things about me that you can taunt me with. Just don’t laugh too loudly!
To keep going on your quest, you need to check out the next author and add her secret number! Amalie Howard. And please let me know in your comments what you think of this hunt.

Sounds like a fun game and go team blue!
Sandra Cox says
Good for you for walking!
This scavenger hunt sounds like all sorts of fun.
You don’t eat desserts? You’ve got some serious restraint going:)
Stay safe. Stay healthy.
C. Lee McKenzie says
I’m just not a sweet eater. I like a nice Italian biscotti, so I don’t totally deny myself, but our desserts always seem laden with sugar and I don’t like the taste. No restraint involved.
I love being outside, so walking more has been my perfect solution. Hope you’re doing well and continue that way.
Yvette Carol says
I’ve been out running each day, and I must say it’s the first time I’ve ever been for a run with my boys. My youngest son complained, “This isn’t running, this is walking!” I envy you the quiet walks. I live in the city and the sidewalks are crowded with people out walking, biking, scootering, jogging and generally moving around. It’s hard to keep your distance at times.
C. Lee McKenzie says
Those kids! They have a way of making you feel your age. You want to avoid crowed sidewalks right now. That’s for sure. Hope you continue to stay healthy. Thanks for the comment.

It can’t happen here… is like asking for it to happen!
I can’t walk around my neighbourhood, sadly. I would love to go to the beach. Oh hum.
We’ll be okay.
Stay safe, Lee.
C. Lee McKenzie says
If I could offer you a walk on one the beaches near me, I certainly would. Hope you’ve found a way to cope during this messy C-19 scare.
Tamara Ann Narayan says
With all the chaos, it’s nice that there are some good side effects of the virus for the environment. I also see a lot more people on the side walks in my neighborhood. If we don’t eat too much junk food in front of the TV, maybe we’ll all develop some healthier habits in terms of exercise.
Beverly Stowe McClure says
I enjoy my walks though they’re not as long as yours. One of my cats goes with me. He sometimes takes a detour to climb a tree, but then he’s back leading the way.
Have a great week
C. Lee McKenzie says
I love cats that walk with you. We had one that loved to come on hikes with us. I so miss his company.
Take care, Beverly.
Diane Burton says
Wow, 5-mile walks per day. Truly great. The books you’re reading sound fascinating, too. Stay safe.
C. Lee McKenzie says
4 and 5. I feel the 5 miles more than the 4, but sometimes I get going and I just don’t want to turn around. Take care and hope both you and your husband come through this with any health issues.
Carol Kilgore says
Good for you with 5-mile walks! I’ve been doing more yoga and more reading. I need to walk more, too. Stay safe!
C. Lee McKenzie says
Good for you, Carol. I’m missing my yoga and have to start doing it again. From practicing five days a week to not practicing at all is a body/mind shock.
Madeline Mora-Summonte says
Those walks of yours sound lovely. I think I need to get out and do more of that. Safely, of course.
C. Lee McKenzie says
I have a friend in New Jersey that is now walking and messaging me her pictures. We’re doing virtual walks together.
Liz A. says
Sounds like a fun game.
C. Lee McKenzie says
