Joy spreads throughout me when I look at the thoroughly dusted and tidy desk. Yep. It’s a small but celebratory moment to be able to see the top of my desk again.
This is a small thing, and I want to take it home.

Several people have offered to help me with my launch of Double Negative. Thank you all. I’ll be in touch with you as soon as I have more information about the cover, the actual launch date etc. I’m still at the “Coming Soon” stage of the process, so if anyone else wants to lend a hand leave that in a comment.

Maya Angelou's life, all around, was inspiration-in-action. I am saddened and this world is less one beautiful light pressing against the darkness. But I'm humbled in knowing her light helped to brighten others so they – we – can continue pressing against the darkness.
