This post is short and to the point. It’s Monday. It’s sunny outside. I’m outta here!
G is for Gregarious.
This is an old word from the 1600s. Latin gregarius “pertaining to a flock; of the herd, of the common sort.
And if you’re a gregarious type, you love to be with a group, just like these guys.

Silvia Villalobos says
I think I'm the gregarious type, but that's a self-given description. Love being around people, socializing, in person and the blogosphere.

The Golden Eagle says
I'm definitely the opposite of gregarious in person . . . LOL. Great word, though!
Samantha May says
Gregarious! I love that word ๐

Gregarious… that's a word I rarely use.
Pk Hrezo says
I would be un-gregarious. lol A loner at heart. ๐
C. Lee McKenzie says
So it seems we have a group of un-gregarious, but "involved" bloggers here.
Sandy Campbell says
I am not introverted, but I don't like crowds of people and never have. Especially in this day and age. Don't want to get stabbed, shot or robbed!! Ha Ha….I won't go to stores where there is a lot of people either. I can remember once when I was quite young, I walked in to a Cosco store, and stated "I smell people" Ha Ha I turned around and walked out! Not for me!! Cute post though! http://www.sandysanderellasmusings.blogspot.com
Bish Denham says
I'm only gregarious to a point. Mostly I'm kind of introverted.
C. Lee McKenzie says
I'm gregarious on blogs and that's about the extent of it, Bish.
Teresa Coltrin says
what's the opposite of Gregarious — cause I'm that. ๐ I like to be with a group of one — me. Is that so wrong?
C. Lee McKenzie says
Reclusive? And that's not wrong in the least.
Al Diaz says
Yes, the perfect example would be the A to Z bloggers. But now I am extremely tempted to dump everything and just go out to the sunny garden. *sneaking away*

Dragons deserve some sunny garden days. It's good for their scales, I hear.
Jarm Del Boccio says
Good word for the day, and is an appropriate description of who I am! Happy A to Z!

I love to be wit my flock…but it's usually a very small one, so I'm probably not gregarious. ๐
C. Lee McKenzie says
Small is good, too, Barbara. My family is a small flock and I enjoy being with them most of all.
michelle says
Gregarious? Maybe.
Go-getters? Certainly.
Goofballs? Some of us.
Okay, now I've run out of G-word ideas… gotta go!
Writer In Transit
C. Lee McKenzie says
But you came up with some splendid G words, Michelle! Hope you passed them onto Nick Wilford for his story!
J.L. Campbell says
I learn something new every day. I figured gregarious for sociable, but somehow I always associated the word with being talkative.
C. Lee McKenzie says
That would be loquacious!
Beth says
Can I skip ahead to S? For sleepy. You gregarious bunch party on!
C. Lee McKenzie says
Sleep? What is that?
Laura Eno says
Can I be a herd of one? I make enough conversation with myself to qualify… ๐
