1) identifying the most bloggers correctly=2 points.
2) leaving witty comments=1 point or more depending on glibness
3) adding to the information and making it more valuable=2 points
Let the Game Begin
Mystery Blogger A’s 2013 theme: “This year, I’m focusing on two themes: Emotions and grammar, depending on which letter we’re on each day.”
This post was on how to write about a character’s ANGER. Here’s what Mystery Blogger A suggested. It was a great tip.
“Whatever physical traits and action the character models to show anger, it’s more effective to contrast it with whatever mood came before it.”
Who was it? HINT: This blogger just pubbed a thriller. Initials N.T.

I'm going to start from the beginning to see these. I think the Nancy Thompson guesses are right, but I wouldn't have known.

It's definitely Nancy S. Thompson. And I love the Grrr photo with the dog peeing on it, LOL!!

Hi. A lovely idea for a post. Keep it going and keep writing..Thank you.

Nancy Thompson. I love this idea for a thing. It's ridiculously clever!

Emotions and Grammar – sounds like me whenever I grade my students writing. Happy A to Z. That pic is great.

I have no clue, but this is a fun game.

I love the photo that you chose to go with anger!
Manzanita says
Fun fun fun post. Your header really intrigues me and the trailer arouses mystery. I don't have a clue to any of the questions so I will bid adios.Good B-day tomorrow.
Lynda R Young says
Initials NT? New Thriller-writer? 😉
Soz, I have no idea.
J.L. Campbell says
Couldn't think of the answer and then I saw Carrie's answer. Sounds about right to me.
C. Lee McKenzie says
You are quite funny, J. L.
Julie Jordan Scott says
Does it qualify as funny if I say I have no idea? No, I didn't think so either.
:-/
I got a rock……
(is that funny?)
Carrie Butler says
Sounds like Nancy Thompson! 🙂
Christine Rains says
I laughed at the pic! Hmmm… I'm not sure who that mystery blogger could be. But the theme is neat.
Thanks for stopping by the Untethered Realms blog earlier! 🙂 Untethered Realms
Romance Book Haven says
Love the pic. I was thinking Nancy…but cant remember the last name! So no idea.
sdneeve1 says
I'm one of the masses, I have absolutely no idea because I didn't know about the A to Z Challenge until this year. 🙁
Anger? Isn't that the emotion we fall back on if we can think of nothing else to say? Or is that just me?
Great post, will be back again tomorrow. 🙂
Cheryl Wright says
You sure know how to make a challenge fun and exciting. I am new and don't know many of the bloggers so I couldn't even guess who the mystery person is. I know it's not me, does that count for anything?
C. Lee McKenzie says
You're new today, old tomorrow. Sorry I didn't mean that to refer to anything except blogger experience. Glad you're here.
M Pax says
I'll guess Nancy Thompson. It's the only NT I know. Thanks for visiting Untethered Realms today 🙂 Untethered Realms
C. Lee McKenzie says
Love my UR visits.
Jemi Fraser says
Don't know (this is no surprise as my brain has been leaking lately…) but I love your theme and the tip!!
C. Lee McKenzie says
Next time you'll get it. If not next, then somewhere along the 26 letters. I just know it.
Stephen Tremp says
Hmmmm … not sure. But anger is fun tow write into a story. I like to have it backfire on the person. You can add slapstick comedy in too.
C. Lee McKenzie says
A backfire is always interesting.
Suzanne Furness says
These are going to make for interesting posts. Not sure that I know the answer for this one though.
C. Lee McKenzie says
You I know you know it.
Elizabeth Seckman says
No idea, but it is a great tip.
Beverly Stowe McClure says
Well, forget "witty" remarks from me. They strain my brain to think of one. Anger is a great topic. Everyone gets angry once in a while, so should our characters. I don't know the answer to your question. 🙂
Susan Gourley/Kelley says
I love your theme but I have no idea and can't even guess who wrote about anger. I like what they said though.
Tamara Narayan says
Now I have another reason to regret skipping last year's challenge! Serves me right.
I like writing angry characters though. Anger in dialogue is even more fun than what characters do when they're angry. It's such a conspicuous emotion.
Ann Hinds says
No clue either but sure do love your website and the way the books move. Just went there to play with it again!
Sharon Himsl says
Oh….I think I'm going lose on this one. I didn't read enough posts last year, but an intriguing puzzle.

I have no idea, but I wish I knew because I'm always looking for tips on expressing emotion. Well, I'm sure I'll stumble across them – after all, there are only about 1400 people doing the A-Z. Piece of cake! lol
Al Diaz says
I am thinking Yolanda but then again Yolanda talked about the author of gone with thw wind, I think.
Julie Flanders says
I feel like I remember seeing that theme last year and the blogger is on the tip of my tongue but I can't place it. You're going to drive me crazy now LOL.
Great idea for a theme, how fun.
C. Lee McKenzie says
You are so going to hate me when I tell you the answer.

All I know is it wasn't me lol
I like this idea…though I wish I had participated last year so I at least had a shot this time around. I'll have to go stalk your last year's posts over this weekend…then its on!
Lady Lilith says
Very nice imagery of anger. Works perfectly for A.
Tyrean Martinson says
I know I should know this – I just visited her blog . . . aagh! Great theme for your blog thought!
Joey says
Nope, don't know. It's an interesting take on the A to Z challenge though! Writing an A to Z in the form of a game about participants in A to Z challenge, which in itself is a sort of game. I feel like the inception bong might go off.
Lynda Dietz says
Now I wish I'd know about the A to Z last year. I could be a contender. However, I do have to say I admire the dog's attitude and have often wished I could do the same. As a woman, of course, it's a bit more difficult…
Oh, and the advice was good, too. 🙂
C. Lee McKenzie says
So it was worth your time to stop in. That's wonderful.
Crystal Collier says
Oh my goodness, there's no way I could possibly guess. If there were a list of people to pick from…
That image makes me giggle though. We're big fans of "grrr" as our expression of anger around here. In fact, my oldest used to say "Erga-berga!" when he was angry. Can you imagine how cute that was coming out of the mouth of a two to 4 year old? Epic.
C. Lee McKenzie says
If nobody gets these from the clues, I may have to resort to a list. Good old multiple choice rules.
Southpaw says
I dunno. Gah? We have to wait a week to find out who this blogger of wisdom is?
C. Lee McKenzie says

My first thought was Angela Ackerman of Emotion Thesaurus fame, but then you said the blogger has published a thriller and that kind of blew that idea, so I have no idea!
Clever, Lee… 🙂
C. Lee McKenzie says
That would have been a great guess, but since she's not writing thrillers. . . .
Hilary Melton-Butcher says
Hi Lee – this will be fun .. but for this I have no idea. I love the pic – very expressive … now I await to find out who writes about Anger so well ..
Cheers and see you around – Hilary
Teresa Powell Coltrin says
Oh NO, I'm clueless. I know it's not me. Does that count?
C. Lee McKenzie says
It does count. Indeed.

Guess I'm stumping everyone. I thought it would be easy.
Karen Jones Gowen says
I'm clueless as well! And it's too early for my brain to work lol.

Next one will be easier.

That's a really challenging questions. I have absolutely no clue! But what a fun idea for a theme. Happy writing!
C. Lee McKenzie says
Glad you stopped by to at least take a look.
L. Diane Wolfe says
I've no idea. But that's a really clever theme. Hopefully I know an answer or two this month.
C. Lee McKenzie says
I'm sure you will and you know this one very well.
Alex J. Cavanaugh says
This is going to be difficult! Lisa Regan? Yolanda?
C. Lee McKenzie says
I was sure you'd get this right away. Hmmm. Maybe these are going to be too hard. Might have to give better clues.
