While I’ve written a lot about alligators lately, I haven’t really included much about other story threads in Alligators Overhead. There are a few WITCHES, but they’re not terribly witchy–no warts, no pointed hats and definitely no cats or broomsticks. One looks kind of like this when she’s on her way to meet with the mayor about the Ornofree Swamp.
Oh, and there’s a MANSION with a mysterious past.
Pete’s a kid who’s always in trouble . . .Here he is a year ago when things started happening.
Some wonderful bloggers are signed up for the Swamp Hop already. So in August the swamp comes alive with GIVEAWAYS, INTERVIEWS, and, if you can stand it, more ABOUT ALLIGATORS. If you’d like to add your name to the Linky List I’d be ever so grateful.

Oh no! I missed signing up for this. Dratted vacations without internet.

I love the photos you chose here. They have a lot of personality!

Love how set this up! The expressions on the kids are great.
So, how does this bloghop work? Sign up and post sometime in August? Do we get an assigned date? Do you contact us about what to post?

I grew up in Michigan and there were lots of old houses like in your above pic. I'm sure they were haunted. Spooky places with real creepy people living in them.

Love the character picks! Hey, did you get my interview questions I sent you? I sent you a follow up email to make sure but I'm not sure that went through to you either.

Thank you all for stopping in. Of course, just when this book launched (ahead of schedule) I had a family
emergency! Life! Anyway hope to be back soon and catching up. Can't tell you how much all of your confined support means.

I must admit I searched images I'd have liked for my characters in my WIP — if it were to ever get published. But I don't think I did as good a job as you've done. I love all the pics!
Your Laos story on my blog was CREEPY! Remind me never to go there. I can't take geckos raining down on me when I sleep. ๐

Great cover! I'll put it on my blog banner in anticipation of the launch hop.

I loved seeing the pictures that you used to show the characters and setting. I think they are quite similar to what I was imagining as I read the book!

Just bought the book for my kindle. Can't wait to read it ๐

It's fun to see the way writers 'imagine' their characters and scenes. Do you do this on Pinterest? I don't yet have an account (the time factor concerns me), but I can see it being a valuable tool.
Alex J. Cavanaugh says
Oh crap, the book is available now? Did I miss the release date? I can add it to my Ninja News on Friday!
